[Supplement] According to "Hunan Herbal Records," treating rheumatic bone pain may also involve using Luoshi Teng alone for wine infusion. Some effective prescriptions combine Luoshi Teng, Danggui, and Gouqizi to make medicinal wine for treating bone and joint pain and waist-knee weakness due to deficiency of essence and blood combined with wind-dampness pathogen.
Comment: Luoshi Teng has a bitter and slightly cold nature, capable of expelling wind and unblocking meridians, especially effective for rheumatic arthralgia and muscle stiffness. Combined with other herbs, it activates blood circulation, unblocks meridians, strengthens spleen, removes dampness, tonifies liver and kidney, and strengthens tendons and bones—forming a formula that simultaneously supports vital energy and eliminates pathogens.
