[Drug Composition] Schisandra fruit one shi, angelica (without branches) one liang, goji berry (using root bark, cut) one liang, achyranthes root one liang, peony (without heart) one liang, cistanche (cut and stir-fried) one liang, scutellaria (without black core) one liang, white atractylodes one liang, salvia (soil and buds removed, slightly roasted) one liang, angelica (cut, dried) one liang, licorice (roasted, cut) one liang, bupleurum (wheat bran fried, pulp removed) one liang, cinnamon (coarse skin removed) one liang, magnolia bark (coarse skin removed, ginger juice coated, stir-fried five times) one liang, schisandra root (cut) one liang, alisma one liang, anemarrhena (dried) one liang, fine cinnamon (without roots and leaves, lightly stir-fried) one liang, white芷 (stir-fried) one liang
[Function and Indications] Treats deficiency of nutritive qi and excess of defensive qi, muscle numbness, disease known as "meat atrophy."
[Dosage and Administration] Take warm doses of five heaping gōng at noon and before bedtime daily. After prolonged use, gradually increase to seven gōng, then one shēng; avoid intoxication or vomiting.
[Preparation Method] Cut all herbs into sizes like sesame seeds, place in a coarse silk bag, soak in two dou of good wine, seal tightly for seven days.
