【Differential Diagnosis】Wind-damp-heat invading zang-fu organs, imbalance of yin-yang, disordered qi-blood, meridians entangled, turbid qi and stagnant blood descending.
【Treatment Principle】Clear heat and detoxify, remove dampness and reduce swelling, cool blood and dissipate stasis.
【Formula Name】Zhi Zhi Tang (Hemorrhoid Treatment Decoction).
【Composition】Pu Gong Ying 30g, Huang Bai 30g, Chi Shao 30g, Dan Pi 30g, Tao Ren 20g, Tu Fu Ling 30g, Bai Zhi 15g.
【Usage】Decoct externally, one dose daily, used 2–3 times daily; first add 2500–3500 ml water, boil, filter out residue, pour liquid into ordinary enamel basin, patient first fumigates then wash while hot, each session 15–30 minutes.

【Differential Diagnosis】Internal generation of damp-heat, poor circulation of qi and blood, meridian obstruction, blood stasis and turbid qi descending to anus.
【Treatment Principle】Clear heat and detoxify, activate blood and remove stasis, moisten intestines and relieve constipation, transform dampness and open pathways, soften hardness and disperse nodules, astringe and consolidate, stop bleeding and relieve pain.
【Formula Name】Xiao Zhi Tang (Hemorrhoid Eliminating Decoction).
【Composition】Wu Mei 10g, Wu Bei Zi 10g, Ku Shen 15g, She Gan 10g, Pao Shan Jia 10g, Duan Mu Li 30g, Huo Ma Ren 10g.
【Usage】Decoct and take orally, one dose daily, twice daily.

【Differential Diagnosis】Damp-heat descending from middle jiao.
【Treatment Principle】Clear heat and promote diuresis, moisten intestines and stop bleeding.
【Formula Name】Gan Han Mi Tang (Sweet Honey Decoction).
【Composition】Xian Cai 30g, Sheng Gan Cao 10g, Han Lian Cao 30g, Mi 10ml.
【Usage】Decoct and take orally, one dose daily, twice daily; add 10ml honey when taking. Take first two decoctions internally, third decoction used externally for fumigation and washing of anus.

【Composition】Huai Hua 15g, Huai Jiao 15g, Sheng Di 12g, Huang Lian 10g, Yin Hua 12g, Huang Bai 10g, Hua Shi 15g, Dang Gui 12g, Sheng Ma 6g, Chai Hu 6g, Zhi Qiao 6g, Huang Qin 10g, Gan Cao 3g.
【Usage】Decoct and take orally, one dose daily, twice daily.

【Composition】Huai Hua 10g, Di Yu 10g, Xian He Cao 15g, Han Lian Cao 15g, Ce Bai Ye 15g, Zhi Qiao 10g, Huang Qin 5g, Hu Ma Ren 15g, Cai Xian 30g.
【Usage】Decoct and take orally, one dose daily, twice daily; additionally, use the decoction for fumigation and washing of the anus.
