【Differential Diagnosis】External invasion of wind-heat pathogen, causing blood stasis in the meridians.
【Therapeutic Method】Expelling wind, clearing heat, activating blood and resolving stasis.
【Formula Name】Mingmu Tang.
【Composition】Ligusticum Chuanxiong 3g, Angelica Sinensis (tail portion) 3g, White Peony Root 3g, Rehmannia (raw) 3g, Coptis 3g, Scutellaria 3g, Gardenia 3g, Gypsum 3g, Forsythia 3g, Saposhnikovia 3g, Schizonepeta 3g, Mentha 3g, Notopterygium 3g, Vitex Berry 3g, Chrysanthemum 3g, Tribulus 3g, Curcuma 3g, Platycodon 3g, Glycyrrhiza 3g.
【Usage】Decocted and taken orally, one dose daily, twice daily.

【Composition】Honeysuckle 15g, Chrysanthemum 12g, Safflower 9g, Dandelion 24g, Mentha 9g, Cicada Slough 9g, White Tribulus 12g, Red Peony Root 12g, Rhubarb (wine-processed) 3g.
【Usage】Decocted and taken orally, one dose daily, reduce dosage for children; during decoction, use steam to fumigate affected eye, three times daily.

【Composition】Mentha 10g, Saposhnikovia 8g, Chrysanthemum (Hangzhou) 10g, Gardenia (raw) 7g, Gentiana 6g, Honeysuckle 15g, Silkworm Pupa (stiffened) 13g, Chaenomeles Fruit 13g, Paris Polyphylla 8g, Gastrodia 8g, Ligusticum Chuanxiong 8g.
【Usage】Decocted and taken orally, one dose daily, twice daily.

【Usage】All herbs decocted together, fumigate and wash affected eye, each session 20–30 minutes, two uses per dose.
