Chronic Type B Hepatitis
【Syndrome Differentiation】Internal retention of damp-heat toxin, liver depression and blood stasis, spleen-kidney deficiency, disharmony of nutritive and defensive qi.
【Treatment Principle】Clear heat and detoxify, activate blood and remove stasis, strengthen spleen and soothe liver, tonify qi and nourish kidney.
【Formula Name】Yi Gan Jie Du Tang.
【Composition】Formula 1: Astragalus membranaceus 30 g, Polygonum cuspidatum 15 g, Hedyotis diffusa 15 g, Vespa mandarinia nest 15 g, Half-Branch Lotus 15 g, Agrimonia pilosa 15 g, Smilax glabra 15 g, Epimedium sagittatum 15 g, Orthosiphon stamineus 15 g, Bupleurum chinense 12 g, Curcuma aromatica 12 g, Angelica sinensis 12 g, Chicken Gizzard Membrane 12 g, Cinnamon twig 9 g, Glycyrrhiza 3 g.
Formula 2: Realgar 30 g (best quality is red like rooster comb, higher efficacy, lower toxicity), Raw alum (acid alum) 15 g, Myrrha 60 g, grind into fine powder, fill into capsules.
【Usage】Formula 1: decoct; soak herbs in cold water for half an hour, boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
Formula 2: swallow capsules with decoction or warm water. Take 0.3 g (2 capsules) twice daily. Both decoction and capsules constitute a course lasting 6 days.
