Subarachnoid Hemorrhage
(I)
【Diagnosis】Liver and kidney yin deficiency, liver yang transforming into fire ascending.
【Treatment Principle】Calming liver yang, nourishing yin, extinguishing wind.
【Formula Name】Lowering Liver Decoction.
【Composition】Antelope horn 0.6g (dissolved separately), raw oyster shell 30g (boiled first), raw Rehmannia 18g, white peony root 18g, stir-fried licorice root 3g, earthworm 9g, bamboo shavings 9g, Scutellaria root 9g, moutan bark 9g, turmeric root 9g, Uncaria hook 12g (added later).
【Usage】Decoct and administer via mouth or nasogastric tube, once daily.

【Diagnosis】Internal blood stasis obstructing meridians.
【Treatment Principle】Activating blood circulation to remove stasis, unblocking channels and relieving pain.
【Formula Name】Modified Blood Stasis and Pain Relief Decoction.
【Composition】Angelica root 10g, red peony root 9g, peach kernel 9g, safflower 9g, Chuanxiong 6g, Salvia root 9g, Notoginseng powder 3–6g (dissolved separately), raw Rehmannia 12g.
【Usage】Decoct and take orally, once daily, twice daily.

【Diagnosis】Wind-phlegm suddenly affecting zang-fu organs, obscuring clear orifices.
【Treatment Principle】Resolving phlegm, removing stasis, unblocking meridians.
【Formula Name】Warm Gallbladder Decoction Modified.
【Composition】Processed Pinellia tuber 6g, dried tangerine peel 6g, Poria 6g, licorice root 3g, bamboo shavings 9g, Citrus aurantium 6g.
【Usage】Decoct and take orally, once daily, twice daily.
