【Differential Diagnosis】Liver Qi deficiency and cold.
【Treatment】Tonify Qi, strengthen the spleen, astringe the intestines, and stop diarrhea.
【Formula Name】Shu Ling Gu Pi Yin (Astringent Spleen Decoction with Atractylodes and Poria).
【Composition】Atractylodes macrocephala 30g, Poria 15g, Ginseng 15g, Dioscorea opposita 15g, Euryale ferox 15g, Cinnamon twig 1.5g, Myristica fragrans 1 piece.
【Usage】Decocted in water and taken orally.

【Differential Diagnosis】Spleen and kidney deficiency-cold, insufficiency of vital fire.
【Treatment】Warm the kidneys and spleen, consolidate and arrest diarrhea.
【Formula Name】Si Shen Wan (Four Divine Pill).
【Composition】Myristica fragrans (raw use) 60g, Stir-fried Psoralea corylifolia 120g, Schisandra chinensis 60g, Evodia rutaecarpa 120g.
【Usage】Grind into powder, add 50 jujubes and 120g ginger, boil until jujubes are soft, remove ginger, mix the pulp with the powder to form pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take 50–70 pills on an empty stomach with warm water.
