Amoebic Dysentery

【Syndrome】Damp-heat in the intestines and stomach, combined with heat-toxin in the blood, stagnation of damp-heat and toxin.
【Therapy】Clearing heat, removing dampness, detoxifying and stopping dysentery.
【Formula】Whitehead Elder Root Decoction.
【Composition】Whitehead elder root 30g, coptis 9g, phellodendron 9g, catalpa bark 9g.
【Usage】Decoct and take orally, one dose daily, twice daily.
【Source】Li Wenliang's formula.

【Syndrome】Heat accumulation in lung and stomach, descending to large intestine.
【Therapy】Clearing heat and detoxifying, purging intestines and stomach.
【Formula】Silver Chrysanthemum White Tiger Decoction.
【Composition】Honeysuckle 15g, wild chrysanthemum 15g, raw gypsum 30g (boiled first), anemarrhena 15g, scutellaria 15g, rhubarb 5g (added later), raw licorice 5g.
【Usage】Decoct and take orally, one dose daily, twice daily.
