Honey Against Cold
After autumn begins, although midday remains hot, morning and evening already bring cool breezes. Due to large temperature fluctuations, it's easy to catch a cold if not careful.
What we commonly refer to as "common cold" or "catching a chill" refers to infection of the nose, pharynx, and larynx (upper respiratory tract infection), the most common type of respiratory infection. It is divided into viral and bacterial types depending on the pathogen. Viral infections account for over 90% of upper respiratory infections, usually spreading through virus-laden droplets or contaminated objects; bacterial infections may occur directly or secondarily following viral infection, with hemolytic streptococcus being the most common. Clinical features include fever, chills, headache, nasal congestion, runny nose, cough, sore throat, hoarseness, etc. The treatment principle is to rapidly alleviate symptoms, shorten the course of illness, and prevent complications. Bee products and their formulations have good preventive effects. The following formulas are recommended for reference——
