Two Points for Relieving Dizziness

🔑 Keywords: Other · Acupuncture and Tuina
When people overuse their brains and feel mentally exhausted, they often unconsciously rub their foreheads or lightly tap them with fists—this actually stimulates two important head points: Yintang and Shenting.
Yintang is an extra-meridian acupoint. The *Damo Secret Skills* lists this point among the “Rejuvenation Methods,” highlighting its significance.
Shenting belongs to the Du Meridian and has therapeutic effects on the nervous system. Pressing and rubbing these two points effectively relieves headache and dizziness, restoring mental vitality. Using them together provides synergistic benefits.
Yintang is located at the midpoint of the line connecting the inner ends of the eyebrows. Place your middle finger on the Yintang point and press firmly for 10 times. Then, rub clockwise 20–30 times, followed by counterclockwise 20–30 times.
Shenting is located just above Yintang, directly in the middle of the hairline, about half a cun upward. The rubbing method is the same as for Yintang.
