1. External Invasion of Cold and Dampness
【Diagnostic Criteria】Diffuse aching in the elbow, pain relieved by warmth, worsened by exertion, inability to rotate the arm or lift objects; thin white coating on the tongue, floating relaxed pulse.
【Prescription】JueLiao, Shousanli, Chize
2. Blood and Qi Stagnation
【Diagnostic Criteria】History of sudden arm swinging or twisting clothes; sharp pain like needle pricks radiating to the forearm and wrist, difficulty holding objects or weak grip; thin white coating, tight string-like pulse.
【Prescription】Chize, Hegu
3. Deficiency of Liver and Kidney
【Diagnostic Criteria】Elbow pain, lighter during daytime, worse at night, weak grip, accompanied by dizziness, tinnitus, lower back and knee soreness; red tongue with little coating, fine weak pulse.
【Prescription】Ganshu, Shenshu, Zusanli, Sanyinjiao, Shousanli
Other Therapies:
Auricular Acupressure: Elbow, Adrenal Gland, Shenmen
Skin Needling: Acupoints: Tender point. Method: Tap locally until slight bleeding occurs, followed by cupping. Perform every 2–3 days.
