Rotating Eye Technique (from "Great Encyclopedia of Chinese Longevity"):
Step 1: Sit upright with proper posture, close your eyes. Rub your palms together palm-to-palm, gradually increasing speed until heat builds. Then gently place your palms over your closed eyes without moving. Move your eyeballs upward, then downward three times; left, then right three times; then continuously move left three times; continuously move right three times.
Step 2: Cross your index and middle fingers of both hands, lightly press your thumbs onto your eyes, then gently rub from the inner corner of the eye toward the temples, repeating three times. Perform three times daily. This method refreshes the mind and spirit, and long-term practice benefits eye health and relieves fatigue.
Eyelid Beauty Massage Technique (from "Eight Methods of Chinese Cosmetology and Skincare"):
Step 1: Rotate the eyeballs. Sit upright and gaze steadily. First rotate your eyes clockwise 10 times, then briefly look straight ahead. Next rotate counterclockwise 10 times, briefly look ahead again. Finally, close your eyes gently and use your index and middle fingers to softly stroke the same-side eyelid for 1 to 2 minutes.
Step 2: Press and Rub Acupoints. Use your thumbs to knead Jingming acupoint about 30 times; use your index finger tips to press and rub the same-side Zanzhu acupoint three times; press and knead the Taiyang acupoint with the pads of your index fingers, applying pressure until a soreness is felt, then knead for 30 times; press and knead the Sibai acupoint with the tips of your index fingers, applying pressure until soreness occurs, then knead for 30 times.
Step 3: Divide and Scrape Eye Area. Clench both hands into fists, use the radial edge of the proximal interphalangeal joint of the index fingers to firmly press against the orbital rim, scraping from inside outward—15 times each for upper and lower orbits, aiming for a tingling-sore sensation.
Step 4: Divide and Stroke Eyelids. Slightly close your eyes, bring your fingers together, use the pads of your middle and ring fingers to adhere to the Jingming acupoint, then glide outward to the Tongziliao acupoint, repeating 30 to 50 times. This massage clears the brain, brightens the eyes, enhances vision, eliminates wrinkles, and beautifies the eyes.
