Massage Acupoints for Urinary Incontinence
Chronic prostatitis is a common condition among middle-aged and elderly men, often manifesting as difficulty urinating—requiring a wait before urine begins to flow. Sometimes, the feeling of incomplete voiding persists, requiring another wait to fully empty. Massaging the Yinlingquan acupoint enables patients to urinate freely and is also effective for treating anal incontinence. Yinlingquan is located at the depression below the medial condyle of the tibia, along the inner edge of the tibia (the hollow at the inner side of the knee when the thigh is bent at 90°). Massage 100–160 times per session, once in the morning and once in the evening, on both legs. Improvement typically appears after two weeks of regular practice.
