Three Daily Ear Exercises
I used to suffer from weak constitution and general fatigue, with constant ringing in my ears. Although I tried jogging for fitness, results were minimal. After consulting a sports teacher, I realized: too little intensity leads to ineffective exercise; too much causes immune system decline instead of improvement. I finally understood that individual physical conditions vary. Eventually, I adopted the morning slapping, noon pinching, and evening rubbing ear routine—and reaped benefits. My health improved significantly, and I still practice three rounds daily. Method: Morning—slap both ears 100 times with both palms. Noon—pinch the earlobe and surrounding area, continuing until the ear becomes warm. Evening—use a warm towel to gently rub both ears up and down, 40 strokes each side. Replace the towel when it cools. This practice also helps prevent colds. The ears contain numerous acupoints connected via meridians to the entire body. Thus, morning slapping, noon pinching, and evening rubbing promote health and healing, ideal for elderly or frail individuals. When planning personal exercise, tailor the intensity to your own condition and find the most suitable method.
