Exercise Therapy for Neurasthenia
Preparatory posture: Place both hands on the knees, positioned comfortably and relaxed. Keep the head upright, spine straight, and align the nose with the navel vertically. Close eyes and sit quietly, relaxing the whole body.
Movement: Bend forward from the right side, using the waist as the pivot. Then rotate leftward, stretch the body, rise up, and complete a full circle returning to the original position. Next, bend forward from the left side, use the waist as the pivot, rotate rightward, stretch, rise up, and complete a full circle back to the starting point. During rotation, keep the navel as the center and the nose facing the navel. Rotate slowly, evenly, easily, and calmly. Perform 16–32 repetitions before bedtime (Wang Heng).
