Formula for Gastric Origin Diarrhea
Prescription and Usage:
Red stone clay, Epimedium herb each 60 grams (both crushed first), calcined oyster shell, cuttlebone each 30 grams, Plantago seed 20 grams (wrapped), decocted in water, one dose daily, divided into four portions, taken warm. One course lasts 5 days. After symptom control, consolidate treatment with Kidney Qi Pill and Xiangsha Liujunzi Pill to prevent recurrence.
Function: Consolidate and stop diarrhea, indicated for gastric origin diarrhea characterized by abdominal pain half-hour after eating, followed by loose stools containing undigested food and mucus, sometimes nocturnal abdominal pain and diarrhea, loose stool appearing blackish-brown, accompanied by tinnitus, dizziness, lower back soreness, pale tongue, and deep, weak pulse.<diarrhea>
