Three Homemade Herbal Face Masks
In daily life, many beauty-conscious women frequently make their own skincare products, believing homemade items are carefully selected, reliable, and worry-free to use.
Homemade skincare typically uses high-quality bases like snow cream as carriers, then adds suitable nutrients tailored to individual needs. Below are three common methods:
First: Mix 10 grams of snow cream with 0.1 grams of pearl powder, blend into a paste, and apply to the face. Apply once nightly, leave on for two hours. A course lasts 1–3 months, improving facial luster and preventing skin laxity.
Second: Mix 10 grams of snow cream with 0.3 grams of coptis powder, blend into a paste, and apply to the face. Apply once nightly, leave on for two hours. Course duration is also 1–3 months, effective for treating enlarged pores and skin inflammation.
Third: Combine pearl powder and glycerin in a strictly sterilized container, mix into a paste, apply to the face, and leave for 2–3 hours. Wash off before bedtime. Continuous use for three months helps reduce wrinkles and melasma, prevents skin aging.
However, frequent use of self-made skincare products requires careful attention to ingredient dosage. Excessive nutrients beyond skin absorption limits lead to waste; too much oil from snow cream or similar products may clog pores and cause acne. If possible, use certified cosmetics from reputable stores as primary skincare products, and reserve homemade masks for occasional use—three to five days per month.
