Pig heart 1,枸杞芽 250g, green onion white, fermented bean curd (douchi) in appropriate amounts. Wash pig heart thoroughly to remove blood, cut into small pieces; chop Chinese broccoli and green onion. Place douchi in pot, add water, boil to extract douchi broth. Add pig heart, Chinese broccoli, green onion to broth, add yellow wine and salt, simmer over low heat to make a porridge-like dish.
According to Traditional Chinese medical theory, the heart governs spirit and blood circulation. When the heart lacks nourishment, symptoms such as palpitations, fear, insomnia, forgetfulness, and emotional distress may appear.
