What Exercises Should Be Done for Kidney Deficiency?
It is commonly said: “Medicine carries inherent toxicity.” Individuals with kidney deficiency should prioritize strengthening the body rather than relying on so-called miraculous remedies.
Tai Chi: Tai Chi is a slow-motion exercise centered on the waist, highly suitable for middle-aged and elderly individuals with weak constitutions.
Self-massage of the lower back: Rub both palms together until warm, then place them on the lower back and massage up and down until a sensation of warmth is felt. Do this twice daily, about 200 times each session.
Stimulating the sole of the foot: The Yongquan point on the sole is where turbid qi descends. Regularly massaging Yongquan nourishes essence, strengthens the kidneys, enhances vitality, and prevents premature aging. Method: Rub palms together until warm, then use the left hand to rub the right foot’s sole, and the right hand to rub the left foot’s sole. Perform once in the morning and once in the evening, each session 300 times.
Contracting the anus: Fully relax the body, breathe naturally. During exhalation, contract the anus; during inhalation, relax. Repeat about 30 times. This promotes pelvic circulation, aids recovery of reproductive organs, and effectively prevents erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation caused by kidney qi deficiency.
