Three Teas for Office Workers’ Body Beautification and Weight Loss

Are you an office worker? Do you want a beautiful figure? If you wish to lose weight but dislike the pain of hunger or lack time to go to the gym, here’s a clever solution—drinking tea!
Why can tea aid weight loss? According to TCM, obesity results from "dampness," "phlegm," and "fluid stagnation." Therefore, ideal slimming foods should strengthen the spleen and stomach, promote diuresis, and resolve dampness. Tea excels in these functions—it clears heat, promotes urination, resolves phlegm, aids digestion, and warms the spleen and stomach. Oolong tea and Tieguanyin are popular choices. After eating greasy food like meat and fish, people often drink a fragrant cup of tea because it helps relieve stomach discomfort, precisely due to its ability to remove grease.
Minority groups have habits of drinking buttered tea or milk tea. They are mainly meat-eaters, which clearly shows tea plays a significant role in digesting meat.
Modern research confirms tea contains caffeine, theophylline, theobromine, volatile oils, vitamin C, quercetin, tannins, etc., all beneficial for lowering blood lipids and promoting metabolism. Suitable for various types of obesity.
