Proven Formula for Treating Burns and Scalds
1. Dry and grind an appropriate amount of Atractylodes macrocephala into fine powder, mix with sesame oil to form a thin paste. Apply to scalded area, 3 times daily, until fully healed.
2. Dry and grind purple leaf brier (Ziziphus jujuba) into powder. When needed, mix appropriate amount with hemp oil and apply to affected area. If infection occurs, first clean the wound, sprinkle the powder, then wrap with gauze. Change dressing daily or every other day. Typically heals within 2–7 days.
3. Soak 30 grams of poppy shell in sesame oil for 4 hours, simmer gently until charred, filter clear. Add 9 grams beeswax, pour into bowl. When edges of the bowl’s residue begin to solidify, add 5 grams light powder (mercury sulfide) and stir evenly. Before use, puncture blisters on the affected area, apply ointment, wrap with gauze. Change dressing twice daily. Usually heals within 2–5 days.<burns>
