【Differential Diagnosis】Wind-heat toxic pathogen combined with phlegm-heat stagnating in the skin.
【Treatment Principle】Disperse wind, clear heat, resolve phlegm, reduce swelling.
【Formula Name】Phlegm-Toxin Decoction.
【Composition】Great Burdock Seed 15g, Radish Seed 15g, Forsythia 15g, Apricot Kernel 9g, Mint 5g (added last), Schizonepeta 9g, Prunella 15g, Silkworm pupa 9g.
【Usage】Boil first decoction with 1500ml water, simmer gently for 15 minutes, extract juice. Add 500ml water to second decoction, simmer gently for 10 minutes, extract juice. Mix both juices, add 30g sugar, concentrate to 100ml. Children take 3 times daily, 20ml each time; adults take 2 times daily, 50ml each time.
