Formula Name: Anti-inflammatory Suppository
【Function and Indications】
Function: Clear heat, reduce swelling, drain dampness, detoxify. Indicated for anal sinusitis, ulcerative proctitis, and post-hemorrhoid surgery anti-inflammatory treatment.
【Prescription Composition】
Chinese goldthread (Coptis) 15g, Phellodendron bark 30g, alum 6g, Erythrina 30g, frankincense 9g, myrrh 9g, crane's bill herb 30g, borneol 12g, pig bile 2 pieces. All herbs except pig bile are ground into fine powder, sieved through a 120-mesh sieve, mixed evenly, then combined with fat acid type 36 base at a ratio of 3.75:1. Pig bile juice is added, stirred well, poured into suppository molds to form 4 cm long rod-shaped suppositories, allowed to solidify, then packaged for use. One suppository is inserted into the anus per use.

【Clinical Efficacy】
Treated 61 cases of anal sinusitis, all cured within 10–15 days; cure rate for ulcerative proctitis exceeded 70%. Used in 524 cases of internal hemorrhoid injection surgery, no infection or ulceration occurred at injection sites.
