Folk Remedy for Amoebic Dysentery
Prescription and Usage: 20 grams of Herba Erythrophyllo, 12 grams of Bombax ceiba flower, each 10 grams of Magnolia officinalis flower, Aquilaria agallocha, Agastache rugosa, Oxalis corniculata, stir-fried Chinese yam, Shenqu (medicated leaven), and Pulsatilla chinensis, plus 3 grams of licorice root.
Decoct and drink daily, one dose per day. A course lasts 10 days. Efficacy: Hemostasis, parasitic elimination, relief of itching. Treats amoebic dysentery with bloody diarrhea, abdominal pain, tenesmus, greasy tongue coating, and slippery rapid pulse.<Amoebic Dysentery>
