【Differential Diagnosis】External invasion of wind-heat pathogenic factors, causing blood vessel stasis.
【Treatment Principle】Expel wind, clear heat, activate blood, resolve stasis.
【Formula Name】Mingmu Tang.
【Composition】Chuanxiong 3g, Guiwei 3g, Baishaoyao 3g, Shengdi 3g, Huanglian 3g, Huangqin 3g, Zhizi 3g, Shigao 3g, Lianqiao 3g, Fangfeng 3g, Jingjie 3g, Bohe 3g, Qianghuo 3g, Manjingzi 3g, Juhua 3g, Zhi Li 3g, Caojue 3g, Jiegeng 3g, Gancao 3g.
【Usage】Decoct and take orally, one dose per day, twice daily.

【Differential Diagnosis】Wind-heat toxin invades lung and defensive Qi, stagnates into stasis, wind-fire flares up, combined with stasis affecting the eyes.
【Treatment Principle】Cool and release lung exterior, expel wind, clear heat, resolve stasis and unblock meridians.
【Formula Name】Sanhua Tang.
【Composition】Yinhua 15g, Juhua 12g, Honghua 9g, Pugongying 24g, Bohe 9g, Chan Tui 9g, Bai Zhi Li 12g, Chishaoyao 12g, Jiujun 3g.
【Usage】Decoct and take orally, one dose per day; reduce dosage for children. While decocting, use steam to fumigate the affected eye, three times daily.

【Formula Name】Jinling San combined with Longdan Xiegan Tang.
【Composition】Bohe 10g, Fangfeng 8g, Hangju 10g, Shengshan Zhi 7g, Longdancao 6g, Yinhua 15g, Bai Jiangcan 13g, Xuanmugua 13g, Chonglou 8g, Tianma 8g, Chuanxiong 8g.
【Usage】Decoct and take orally, one dose per day, twice daily.

【Differential Diagnosis】Wind-heat attacks the eyes.
【Treatment Principle】Clear heat, expel wind.
【Formula Name】Qinbai Eye Fumigation Formula.
【Composition】Qinpi 9g, Chuanbo 9g, Chuajiao 9g, Bohe 6g, Jingjie 6g, Fangfeng 6g.
【Usage】All herbs decocted together, fumigate and wash the affected eye, each session lasting 20–30 minutes, use each dose twice.
