Simmer for about 2 hours until meat is tender.
[Consumption] Eat as a dish with meals.
[Benefits] Warms yang, dispels cold, warms and transforms cold phlegm.
[Indication] Yang deficiency-type chronic bronchitis in elderly patients, especially suitable for elderly with chronic bronchitis accompanied by latent cold phlegm in the lungs.
[Comment] Aconite has a pungent, hot, dry, and intense nature, significantly warming and dispersing cold. Ginger is pungent, capable of opening and inducing sweating, with notable phlegm-transforming effects—especially suitable for cough with abundant, clear phlegm. Dog meat is an excellent tonic for strengthening yang and nourishing the kidneys. For elderly patients with deficient kidney yang suffering from chronic bronchitis, consuming dog meat during winter months provides therapeutic benefit at the root level. When aconite, ginger, and dog meat are simmered together, not only is the flavor exceptionally delicious, but the effects of warming the kidneys, dispelling cold, strengthening yang, and transforming phlegm are also significant. The best season for consuming this dietary therapy is winter and spring cold weather; use cautiously in summer and autumn. Patients with yin deficiency and internal heat should avoid this remedy.
