How Does Traditional Chinese Medicine Treat Male Anejaculation?
In treating male anejaculation, traditional Chinese medicine must differentiate syndromes based on overall symptoms. Generally, there are four types:
A. Excess Fire in the Liver Type: Symptoms include excessive libido, irritability, frequent nocturnal emission, dry mouth, red tongue with thin coating, and wiry fine rapid pulse. B. Deficiency of Kidney Yang Type: Symptoms include reduced libido, soreness in waist and knees, dull complexion, dizziness, fatigue, pale tongue with white coating, deep fine or weak pulse. Use Ba Wei Di Huang Wan (Rou Gui 10g, Zhi Fu Pian 10g, Shudi 12g, Shan Yurou 12g, Dan Pi 10g, Fu Ling 10g, Ze Xie 10g, Shan Yao 10g), adding Rou Cong Rong 12g, Ba Ji Tian 12g.
C. Damp-Heat Descending Type: Symptoms include increased libido, frequent nocturnal emission, urgent lower abdomen, bitter taste, irritability, insomnia with many dreams, red or yellow urine, yellow greasy tongue coating, string-like rapid pulse. Use Long Dan Xie Gan Tang (Long Dan Cao 12g, Ze Xie 0g, Sheng Di 12g, Dang Gui 10g, Mu Tong 10g, Chai Hu 10g, Gan Cao 3g, Huang Qin 10g, Zhi Zi 10g, Che Qian Zi 10g), adding Chang Pu 12g, Yi Ren 12g, Zhu Ye 6g.
D. Heart-Kidney Disharmony Type: Symptoms include palpitations, insomnia, frequent dreams, lower back pain, poor appetite, pale tongue with thin white coating, fine weak pulse. Use Gui Pi Tang (Dang Shen 12g, Huang Qi 12g, Dang Gui 10g, Bai Zhu 12g, Yuan Zhi 10g, Fu Shen 12g, Zao Ren 10g, Long Yan Rou 12g, Mu Xiang 6g, Sheng Jiang 3g, Da Zao 3 pieces, Gan Cao 3g), adding Bu Gu Zhi 12g, Shan Yurou 12g, Ba Ji Tian 12g, Tusu Zi 12g.
