Chinese Herbal Formula for Non-specific Ulcerative Colitis
Chinese Herbal Prescription (I)
[Syndrome Differentiation] Spleen deficiency and kidney insufficiency, qi deficiency leading to instability.
[Treatment Principle] Strengthening spleen and nourishing kidney, tonifying qi and consolidating collapse, gathering sores and healing ulcers.
[Formula Name] Sores-Healing and Ulcer-Closing Decoction.
[Composition] 30 grams of黄芪 (Huang Qi), 20 grams of白术 (Bai Zhu), 30 grams of菟丝子 (Tu Si Zi), 10 grams of柴胡 (Chai Hu), 12 grams of白芨 (Bai Ji), 3 grams ofSanqi Powder (Sānqī Fěn, taken orally), 12 grams of木香 (Mu Xiang, roasted with flour), 1.5 grams of白矾 (Bái Fán, taken orally), 30 grams of乌贼骨 (Wū Zé Gǔ), 24 grams of赤石脂 (Chì Shí Zhī), half of which is added to decoction, the other half ground into powder and taken orally.
[Usage] Boil in water, take one dose daily, twice daily.
