Chinese Herbal Prescription (I)
[Differential Diagnosis] Spleen deficiency with dampness obstruction, impaired function of the three jiao.
[Treatment Principle] Strengthening the spleen, resolving dampness, regulating the stomach.
[Formula Name] Pediatric Nephrotic Mixture.
[Composition] Tender Su Geng 9g, Prepared Hou Po 10g, Guang Chen Pi 6g, Stir-fried Bai Zhu 6g, Zhi Mu 9g, Fu Ling 9g, Chou Hu Lu 10g, Stir-fried Zhi Qiao 9g, Mai Dong 9g, Zhu Ling 9g, Ze Xie 9g, Gan Cao 6g.
[Usage] Place all herbs in a container. Soak in cold water for 20 minutes, then simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Extract 120–150ml, divided into two warm doses per day.
