Areca Nut Glutinous Rice Porridge

[Ingredients] 15 grams of areca nut, 20 grams of prune seed, 15 grams of hemp seed, 100 grams of glutinous rice.
[Preparation] First, grind the hemp seed with water, filter out the juice, then add the glutinous rice and cook until nearly done. Crush the areca nut, soak the prune seed in hot water to remove the skin, then grind into paste. Mix the paste with crushed areca nut, then add to the rice porridge and cook briefly.
[Usage] Consume on an empty stomach in the morning and evening.
[Function] Regulating qi, moistening intestines, promoting bowel movement. Suitable for chest tightness, bloating, and constipation.
[Comment] Areca nut breaks stagnation and descends qi, aids digestion and removes blockages; prune seed and hemp seed are rich in oils, effectively lubricating the intestines and relieving constipation. This formula provides gentle and sustained laxative effect. Not suitable for those with weak spleen and loose stools without constipation.
