Duck Porridge
[Ingredients] One green-headed male duck, 50 grams of glutinous rice,适量 (appropriate amount) of green onion whites.
[Preparation] Remove feathers and internal organs from the green duck, cut into small pieces, and cook until very soft. Then add glutinous rice and green onion whites to make porridge; alternatively, use duck broth to cook the porridge without salt, adding a few drops of cooking wine to remove fishy odor.
[Usage] Twice daily, consume warm on an empty stomach. One course lasts 7 days.
[Effects] Tonifies spleen and stomach, promotes diuresis and reduces edema, nourishes yin and blood. Suitable for all patients with edema.
[Comment] Not suitable for individuals with yin deficiency, weak spleen, or loose stools due to diarrhea.
