Mixed Salad of Three Vegetables

[Ingredients] 100 grams of tomatoes, 100 grams of carrots, 100 grams of cucumbers, refined salt, vinegar, monosodium glutamate, sesame oil.
[Preparation] Wash tomatoes, blanch briefly in boiling water to remove skin, then slice. Wash carrots and cucumbers, cut into diamond-shaped pieces. Arrange the three vegetables on a plate. Mix refined salt, vinegar, monosodium glutamate, and sesame oil in a small bowl, stir evenly, then pour over the salad.
[Effects] Nourishes yin and benefits the stomach, strengthens the spleen and aids digestion. Suitable for poor appetite and dry mouth with stomach heat.
[Comment] Tomatoes are sweet, sour, and slightly cold in nature, capable of generating body fluids and quenching thirst, strengthening the stomach and aiding digestion. Cucumbers are sweet and cold, clearing heat from the chest, relieving irritability and thirst, and promoting urination. Carrots are sweet and neutral, strengthening the spleen and nourishing deficiency, moving qi and aiding digestion. Combining tomatoes with cucumbers enhances yin-nourishing and fluid-generating effects; pairing with carrots further improves spleen-strengthening and digestion-promoting actions.
