Milk from sheep 250 grams, sheep fat 60 grams. Place milk and fat in a pot, cook into a porridge-like dish.
This formula has functions of tonifying deficiency and nourishing essence and blood. Suitable for emaciation due to chronic deficiency.
Recorded in *Shili Bencao*, originally used for “tonifying kidney deficiency, also treats stroke,” it is a formula for treating deficiency and nourishing essence and blood. Chronic illness leads to depletion of zang-fu organs, resulting in deficiency of essence and blood, manifesting as emaciation. Treatment should focus on tonifying deficiency and nourishing essence and blood. The main ingredient, sheep’s milk, tonifies deficiency and nourishes essence and blood; sheep fat serves as auxiliary, moisturizing and softening to assist the nourishing effect of milk. Combined, they form a formula for tonifying deficiency and nourishing essence and blood. This formula has strong nourishing and moistening properties, particularly suitable for those with emaciation and dry, dull skin.
Due to its warm and moist nature, this formula is not recommended for individuals with unresolved external pathogens or excessive phlegm-fire.
