Folk Blood-Nourishing Method 6
Fresh oysters 250 grams. Clean thoroughly, marinate in yellow wine, salt, scallions, and ginger for half an hour, then grill until cooked. Eat as part of a meal.
The health benefits of oysters have been documented since ancient times. The Ming Dynasty's *Bencao Gangmu* records: "Oyster has sweet and warm taste, non-toxic. Cooked consumption treats deficiency, regulates the middle energizer... Grilled oyster is especially delicious, makes skin fine and complexion beautiful." Ancient Japanese texts also state: "Sweet and warm, non-toxic, clears internal heat in spleen and stomach, reduces sweating, quenches thirst, relieves alcohol intoxication, nourishes yin and blood; long-term consumption keeps skin delicate." The beauty-enhancing effect of oysters stems from their rich content of proteins, carbohydrates, unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins, and trace elements such as zinc, copper, iodine, and selenium—these nutrients not only strengthen the body but also benefit skin health.
Although oysters are nutritionally rich, people far from coastal areas often cannot access them. To allow more people to benefit, Chinese and Japanese scientists jointly developed “Oyster Essence.” This product is made by advanced processing techniques that extract effective components from oysters, preserving their nutritional value and enhancing digestibility and absorption.
