Purple quartz, white quartz (both crushed to rice-sized particles), 4.5 liters of alcohol, copper vessel, simmered over low heat until reduced to 1.5 jin (approx. 750 g), stirred continuously with bamboo paddle until sediment removed and liquid clarified); 500 grams each of dried rehmannia root, 150 grams of dendrobium, 30 grams each of pine seed, polygala root, 60 grams each of poria, ginseng, cinnamon heart, dried ginger, atractylodes, schisandra berry, cistanche, licorice, aconite root, white peony, fine cinnamon, ligusticum, astragalus, cornus fruit, ophiopogon root, windproof herb, yam, 1500 grams of white ginseng, 500 grams of butter, 1500 grams of peach kernel. Combine all 24 herbs, crush and sieve, add to the decoction. If insufficient, add more wine until the mixture forms pills. Alternatively, prepare as a decoction.
