Vinegar Therapy for Stroke

Stroke is an acute or subacute cerebral circulatory disorder caused by cerebrovascular disease, primarily characterized by sudden collapse, unconsciousness, slurred speech, and hemiplegia. It commonly affects elderly individuals, especially those with hypertension or significant arteriosclerosis. Stroke ranks among the three leading causes of death in the elderly (stroke, heart disease, and cancer). Stroke is classified into two major types: ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke. Ischemic stroke includes atherosclerotic cerebral infarction and cerebral embolism. Hemorrhagic stroke includes hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage and subarachnoid hemorrhage, among others.
After surviving the critical phase, most stroke patients are left with residual symptoms such as hemiplegia and speech impairment. Vinegar is a vasodilator substance and has shown good efficacy in preventing and treating post-stroke sequelae. When combined with medication, clinical results are even better.
