Notes
After childbirth, postpartum women often suffer from spleen and kidney deficiency, requiring nourishing and tonifying remedies. Otherwise, they may experience "facial deterioration." This Taxus and Ophiopogon egg tea has calming, blood-nourishing, and skin-beautifying effects—ideal for postpartum women who cannot tolerate strong tonics. For vitality and energy, drink more Taxus and Ophiopogon egg tea.
Ophiopogon is sweet and slightly bitter, slightly cold in nature, with functions of relieving cough, moistening lungs, clearing heat, and nourishing yin.
Taxus is a blood-tonifying herb with effects of dispelling wind, nourishing blood, strengthening tendons and bones, and tonifying liver and kidneys.
