Five-Flavor Pig Stomach Soup

【Ingredients】Coptis chinensis 3g, Anemarrhena asphodeloides, Gynura segetum, Ophiopogon japonicus each 9g, Prunus mume 1.5g, one pig stomach, a small amount of salt.
【Preparation】
Wash the pig stomach thoroughly and blanch it briefly in boiling water to remove blood residue. Grind Prunus mume into powder. Then place Coptis chinensis, Anemarrhena asphodeloides, Gynura segetum, Ophiopogon japonicus, Prunus mume, and salt inside the pig stomach, sew the incision shut with hemp thread, and steam it for 2 hours over boiling water until tender. Remove the herbs after steaming.

Eat the pig stomach in portions with meals.
