Poria, Jujube, and Yam Porridge
[Ingredients] 20g Poria, 10 jujubes, 20g yam, 50g rice,适量 red sugar.
[Preparation] Remove pits from jujubes, then boil together with Poria, yam, and rice until porridge is ready. Add appropriate amount of red sugar to season.
[Usage] Divide into three portions, eat as accompaniment to meals.
[Effects] Strengthens spleen and stomach function, removes dampness and stops diarrhea. Suitable for children with spleen and stomach qi deficiency, poor appetite, loose stools, fatigue.
[Comment] Poria is sweet and neutral, bland and diuretic, clears dampness and strengthens spleen and stomach. When combined with yam and jujube, its nature is mild and nourishing, enhancing the ability to tonify spleen and stomach, resolve dampness, and stop diarrhea.
