White Fungus Porridge
[Ingredients] Tremella fuciformis 30g, Allium tuberosum 10g, Japonica rice 50g. [Preparation] Soak tremella in water and set aside. Wash and finely chop tremella and Allium tuberosum, then boil together with jujube rice to make porridge.
[Usage] Consume on an empty stomach.
[Function] Nourishes yin, moistens dryness, regulates qi, relieves pain. Suitable for chronic diarrhea or dysentery causing yin deficiency, dry mouth, fatigue, poor appetite, abdominal pain, and tenesmus.
[Comment] Tremella nourishes yin, generates body fluids, moistens lungs, and strengthens spleen—ideal for post-illness yin deficiency. Allium tuberosum warms the middle burner and strengthens the spleen, particularly effective for tenesmus due to dysentery. Japonica rice nourishes stomach yin. This formula is beneficial for chronic dysentery leading to yin deficiency, fatigue, and rectal prolapse.
