Chrysanthemum Tea
[Ingredients] 15 grams wild chrysanthemum (double quantity if fresh), 20 grams rock sugar.
[Preparation] Take wild chrysanthemum, pour boiling water over it, steep for 10 minutes, then dissolve rock sugar.
[Usage] Two doses daily, consumed as tea, until flavor fades.
[Benefits] Clears heat and detoxifies, cools blood and improves vision. Used for prevention and treatment of nasopharyngeal cancer.
[Comment] Wild chrysanthemum is slightly sweet and bitter, mildly cold; clears heat and detoxifies, used for treating toxic abscesses and skin sores. Modern research confirms its antibacterial, antiviral, and anticancer properties. Combined with rock sugar, which is sweet and cool, it moistens dryness, improves taste, and enhances the cooling effect when consumed cold.
