Amomum Seed Porridge
[Ingredients] 5 grams amomum seed, 100 grams glutinous rice.
[Preparation] Wash glutinous rice and cook as usual. When porridge is nearly cooked, stir in finely ground amomum seed and simmer for another 5 minutes.
[Usage] Consume on an empty stomach in the morning and evening.
[Action] Warms the spleen and stomach, aids digestion, tonifies middle energizer. Suitable for spleen-stomach deficiency-cold, pregnancy nausea, epigastric distension, poor appetite.
[Comment] Amomum seed is pungent and warm, capable of resolving dampness, opening the stomach, warming the spleen to stop diarrhea, regulating qi and stabilizing fetus. Ideal for early pregnancy nausea and vomiting.
