Nourishing Kidney Porridge
[Ingredients] 1 pig kidney, 100g malva herb, 100g glutinous rice.
[Preparation] Soak pig kidney in water for 1 hour, wash and cut into small pieces. First boil malva herb for 20 minutes, strain and collect juice. Then add pig kidney and glutinous rice, cook together into porridge.
[Usage] Consume on empty stomach in morning and evening.
[Function] Tonify spleen and kidney, promote urination and relieve dysuria. Treats kidney stones and ureteral stones.
[Comment] Pig kidney is salty and neutral, benefits kidney qi and promotes bladder function; malva herb is sweet and cold, promotes urination and relieves dysuria; glutinous rice harmonizes the middle energizer and strengthens the spleen. Combined, these three herbs treat dysuria due to deficiency of both spleen and kidney.
