Nutritional Supplementation to Prevent Asthma

🔑 Keywords: Health Food Recipes · Dr. Jiang Tianjun, chief physician at the Department of Infectious Diseases, PLA 302 Hospital, points out that in autumn, allergens in food and air increase significantly, leading to a noticeable rise in asthma incidence. Those with a history of asthma should identify potential allergens triggering asthma and avoid contact with them as much as possible. At the same time, they should enhance nutrition and pay attention to physical exercise.
If proper supplementation is adopted, it may prevent or alleviate the onset or progression of bronchial asthma. The following two supplementary recipes are available for selection:
(1) Pear and Fritillary Pork Lung Stew. Use 250 grams pork lung, 10 grams Fritillary Bulb, 2 snow pears, and a small amount of rock sugar. Cut the snow pear into pieces, slice the pork lung, place together with Fritillary Bulb in a clay pot, add appropriate rock sugar and water, slowly stew until the pork lung is tender. Can be consumed regularly.
(2) Mulberry Leaf, Fritillary, Lily Duck Egg. Use 30 grams mulberry leaf, 5 grams Fritillary Bulb, 25 grams lily bulb, and 2 duck eggs. Boil mulberry leaf to extract 500 milliliters of juice, add Fritillary Bulb and lily bulb, stew until lily is soft, then break in duck eggs, add seasonings, briefly boil, and consume. Continue for about one week. Additionally, one may also consume radish stewed with honey, sparrow stewed with rock sugar, old duck stewed with winter grass, etc.
