How to Supplement with Valuable Herbs?
The sales of high-priced tonic herbs such as Cordyceps sinensis and Hasi Ma oil have also been boosted, and are now accepted by ordinary citizens. Their remarkable health benefits are well known, but many people still do not know how to consume them properly to achieve optimal supplementation effects.

Donkey-hide Gelatin
Donkey-hide gelatin, also known as "donkey skin gelatin," is called the "supreme blood tonic." Its nature is sweet and mild, possessing functions of replenishing blood, stopping bleeding, nourishing yin, and moistening lungs. It is suitable for symptoms caused by blood deficiency such as sallow complexion, dizziness, blurred vision, irritability, insomnia, excessive menstruation, and pregnancy bleeding (threatened abortion). Since donkey-hide gelatin also has nourishing yin and moistening lung properties, it can treat dry cough without phlegm, scanty phlegm, slight blood streaks in sputum, dry throat, facial flushing, hot flushes, night sweats, red tongue with little coating, or pale tongue with thin white coating due to yin deficiency and lung dryness.
Usage:
Due to the complex preparation process of donkey-hide gelatin paste, ready-made products are available on the market. For example, Fang Huichuntang's "Special Hui Chun Donkey-Hide Gelatin Paste" uses authentic Dong'e donkey-hide gelatin, black sesame seeds, walnut kernels, and secret herbal extracts, offering a delicious and crisp texture. Consume 50–60 grams daily.
Cordyceps Sinensis
Cordyceps sinensis is a unique composite organism found exclusively in alpine regions above 3,800 meters in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, appearing as both insect and plant (insect in winter, herb in summer). Its nature is neutral and slightly warm, sweet and bland. Ancient physicians said: "Cordyceps tonifies the three jiao"—the upper jiao corresponds to heart and lungs, the middle jiao to spleen, stomach, liver, and gallbladder, and the lower jiao to kidneys and reproductive systems. Modern medicine confirms that cordyceps has remarkable effects in cancer prevention, treatment, and recovery during chemotherapy. Moreover, there are no contraindications for consuming cordyceps—suitable for all ages and genders.

1. Take 2 pieces and steam them over water (or soak in boiling water), drink as tea, and consume the residue along with the worm at night;
2. Use 6–8 pieces to stew with old duck—delicious taste. Can also be used in meat dishes or fish soup.
