Hemorrhoid Dietary Therapy
1. 5 grams of black fungus, 30 grams of persimmon cake. Soak black fungus until soft, cut persimmon cake into pieces, boil together until soft. Take 1–2 times daily. Benefits: tonifies qi, nourishes yin, removes stasis, stops bleeding. Suitable for hemorrhoidal bleeding.
2. 500 grams of fresh Chinese water chestnut, 90 grams of brown sugar. Add sufficient water, boil for 1 hour. Drink the soup and eat the water chestnuts once daily. Benefits: clears heat, nourishes yin. Suitable for internal hemorrhoids.
3. 100 grams of eel, remove internal organs, cut into segments, season with spices and water, then boil. Eat meat and drink soup. Benefits: tonifies the center, boosts vital energy, clears heat, detoxifies, dispels wind and dampness. Suitable for intestinal bleeding due to wind.
4. 2000 grams of water spinach, 250 grams of honey. Wash water spinach, chop finely, extract juice, pour into a pot, first boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat until thickened. Add honey, continue boiling until sticky and viscous, cool and store in bottle. Take 1 tablespoon dissolved in boiling water twice daily. Benefits: clears heat, detoxifies, promotes urination, stops bleeding. Suitable for external hemorrhoids.
5. 3 grams of mulberry fungus, 50 grams of glutinous rice. First decoct mulberry fungus, strain out residue, use the liquid to cook rice into porridge. Consume on an empty stomach. Benefits: dispels wind, activates blood circulation. Used for intestinal bleeding due to wind and blood stasis.
6. 15 grams of Xiang Er Zi (Cnidium fruit), 100 grams of rice. First decoct Xiang Er Zi, strain out residue, then add rice to cook porridge. Consume on an empty stomach. Benefits: dispels wind, reduces swelling. Suitable for hemorrhoidal bleeding, especially in elderly with poor vision.
7. 1 whole ox spleen, 100 grams of rice. Use 150 grams of ox spleen per serving, finely chopped, cook with rice into porridge. Consume on an empty stomach. Benefits: strengthens spleen, eliminates food stagnation. Suitable for spleen deficiency with food stagnation, also treats hemorrhoidal bleeding.
8. 100 grams of mulberry fruit, 150 grams of glutinous rice. Boil mulberry fruit to extract juice, mix with glutinous rice to cook porridge. Take 1–2 times daily, on empty stomach. Benefits: nourishes liver and kidneys, enriches blood. Suitable for hemorrhoidal bleeding, irritability, and weight loss.
9. 100 grams of dried figs, 200 grams of lean pork. Add sufficient water, place in a clay pot, steam over water until cooked. Season and consume twice daily. Benefits: nourishes stomach and regulates intestines, clears heat, detoxifies. Suitable for hemorrhoids and chronic colitis.
10. 250 grams of loofah, 200 grams of lean pork. Cut loofah into pieces, pork into slices, boil together with sufficient water. Season with salt, consume 2–3 times daily as a meal. Benefits: clears heat, promotes bowel movement, cools down summer heat, relieves restlessness. Suitable for early-stage internal hemorrhoids with bloody stools.
11. 25–50 grams of fish maw, 50 grams of white sugar. Add a small amount of water, place in a clay pot, steam over water until cooked. Take once daily, continuously. Benefits: tonifies kidneys, nourishes essence, stops bleeding, reduces swelling. Suitable for hemorrhoids.
12. 100 grams of golden needle mushroom, appropriate amount of brown sugar. Cook together until soft, strain out residue. Take on an empty stomach in the morning and evening, continue for several days. Suitable for hemorrhoid pain and bleeding. Benefits: clears heat, promotes urination, nourishes blood, calms liver.
