Dietary Therapy for Lead Detoxification
Carrot Milk: 50 grams of cooked carrot mashed and mixed into 200 ml of milk for consumption.
Golden Mushroom Shrimp Dumplings: 100 grams of cooked golden mushrooms (with broth removed), 50 grams of washed shrimp paste (briefly rinsed with warm water), and 200 grams of lean pork. Combine all three ingredients into a paste, add seasonings, form dumplings (or wontons), and cook by boiling. Can be consumed in portions.
Garlic Kelp Porridge: 50 grams of rice, 15 grams of chopped kelp, and two crushed garlic cloves. Cook rice and kelp together with sufficient water until porridge forms, then add garlic paste and seasonings, simmer briefly. Consume in portions.
Golden Plum Drink: 10 grams of金钱草 (Lonicera japonica), 10 grams of sour plum (wumei), and 10 grams of licorice. Boil, filter out residue, yielding about 300 ml of liquid, divided into three doses for consumption.
Licorice Mung Bean Soup: 10 grams of licorice and 50 grams of mung beans. Boil until beans are soft, serve without sugar—drink soup and eat beans.
These recipes can be alternated and require prolonged use—typically one to two months or longer—to be effective. Those with lead poisoning symptoms may try them.
