Time Therapy for Organ Health: Balancing Positive and Negative Rhythms
The liver and other organs handle detoxification, removing waste and metabolic toxins. Lifestyle profoundly affects their function. Over time, this leads to dysfunction, reduced efficiency, and overload—causing various diseases. Time therapy means sleeping at correct times, adjusting routines so the body naturally absorbs nutrients and detoxifies at optimal moments.
9–11 PM: Immune system (lymph) detox time. Stay calm or listen to music. Anxiety during this period harms health.
11 PM–3 AM: According to TCM meridian theory, this is the liver meridian’s peak. Liver detoxification occurs during deep sleep.
3–5 AM: Lung detox time. According to TCM meridian theory, this is the lung meridian’s active phase—detoxification begins.
Midnight–4 AM: Spinal cord hematopoiesis period. Must sleep deeply—avoid staying up late.
5–7 AM: Large intestine detox. Should defecate.
7–9 AM: Small intestine’s main nutrient absorption window. Breakfast essential. Skipping breakfast is bad—eating by 9 or 10 AM is better than nothing.
