Congbai Douchi Wine (Fever and Headache)
[Formula] Green onion white 3 pieces, fermented soybean 15 grams, baijiu 300 milliliters.
[Preparation] Simmer the first two ingredients with baijiu until reduced by half, filter out residue, and let cool before use.
[Function] Promoting defensive Qi circulation, dispersing wind-cold.
[Indication] Initial stage of exterior wind-cold invasion: chills, fever, no sweating, headache, nasal congestion, body pain with restlessness, floating-tight pulse. Also treats cold dysentery with abdominal pain, vomiting, and diarrhea.
[Usage] Oral administration. One dose daily, divided into two warm doses in morning and evening.
[Note] Quoted from *Compendium of Materia Medica*. Also, *Complete Collection of Folk Remedies* describes Congbai Huangjiu Tang, which uses this formula without baijiu, replaces green onion with 30 grams, adds 50 milliliters of yellow wine, and prepares similarly. Avoid wind-cold exposure and raw/cold foods.
