Strengthening Yang Wine
[Drug Composition] Dog Kidney one piece, Goji Berries 30g, Epimedium 20g, Centipede 3 pieces, White wine (or yellow wine) 1L
[Function and Indications] Impotence.
[Usage and Dosage] Warmly drink one cup (about 40g) each time, once daily, ten days constitute one course.
[Preparation Method] Soak all ingredients in wine, ready for consumption after one week.

Rooster Reproductive Wine
[Drug Composition] Rice wine (50 degrees) 2.5kg, Fresh rooster reproductive organs 200g, Epimedium, Night-Blooming Jasmine Vine, Horny Goat Weed, Lu Lu Tong, Longan Meat each 100g
[Function and Indications] Tonify kidney, strengthen yang, nourish essence; treat impotence, premature ejaculation, low sperm count in male infertility.
[Usage and Dosage] Oral medicinal wine: take 20ml before breakfast and lunch on an empty stomach, 40ml before bedtime. One course lasts sixty days.
[Preparation Method] Place all ingredients in a bottle, add wine, seal, ready after thirty days. Fresh rooster reproductive organs must not be washed with water or left too long; avoid sunlight; the person extracting must place the organ directly into the wine after removal.
[Precautions] During the first course, avoid sexual activity and cold foods like radish and cabbage.

Barbary Fig and Eucommia Wine — Original name: "Barbary Fig Wine"
[Drug Composition] Barbary Fig, Eucommia each three *liang*, Goji Root Bark, Ophiopogon, Rehmannia, Wind-Preventing Herb each two *jin*
[Function and Indications] Treat functional decline due to deficiency, erectile dysfunction, five-labor seven-injury.
[Usage and Dosage] Warmly take, maintain continuous wine aroma, avoid drunkenness.
[Preparation Method] Use fresh herbs; if unavailable, dried ones work too. Mix evenly, soak in one *dan* and four *dou* of wine. Soak seven days in spring, twenty-one days in autumn/winter.
[Precautions] Avoid raw/cold, pork, fish, oil, garlic.

Comment: For those with cold predisposition, add one *jin* of dried ginger and one *jin* of cinnamon heart; for severe deficiency, add one *jin* each of Schisandra and Cistanche; for dampness in genital area, add one *jin* of Five-Leaf Bark root; if stone orchid available, add one *jin*. For each added *jin* of herb, add seven *sheng* of wine. This wine should be prepared between mid-August and mid-September annually, and consumed by early October. Another version uses Barbary Fig and fresh Eucommia each three *jin*, crush and sift, soak in five *dou* of wine, use as previously described. "Thousand Gold Prescriptions"
Epimedium Wine
[Drug Composition] Epimedium one *jin*, Ash-free wine two *dou*
[Function and Indications] Strengthen tendons and bones, enhance sexual function, treat cold in waist and knees, partial paralysis, numbness, and low blood pressure.
[Usage and Dosage] Drink daily as desired, maintain slight intoxication, avoid drunkenness. When wine runs out, prepare again.
[Preparation Method] Place one *jin* of Epimedium in a bag, soak in two *dou* of ash-free wine, seal for three days.
[Precautions] Avoid for yin deficiency, excessive libido, and hypertension patients.

Comment: Epimedium, also known as Horny Goat Weed, modern pharmacology confirms it promotes seminal secretion, stimulates sexual desire indirectly when seminal vesicles are full.
Two Immortals Wine
[Drug Composition] Horny Goat Weed (soaked in rice water) 120g, Epimedium 120g, Five-Leaf Bark 120g, Longan Meat one hundred pieces
[Function and Indications] Used for impotence due to kidney yang deficiency with cold symptoms, accompanied by sore waist and knees, cold semen, clear urine, cold hands and feet.
[Usage and Dosage] 10ml each time, twice daily, morning and evening.
[Preparation Method] Cut herbs into slices, place in a silk bag, soak in 4.5L of white wine, ready after twenty-one days.
[Precautions] Prohibited for those with five-palm heat, yellow urine, red tongue with little coating, fine rapid pulse.

[Appendix] "Miao Yizhai Medical Corrected Seed Preparation Manual" notes that combining this wine with Baozhen Pills greatly enhances therapeutic effect. The Baozhen Pills consist of: Deer Antler Gelatin, Eucommia, Dry Yam, Toon Seed, White Poria, Prepared Rehmannia, Dodder Seed, Cornus Fruit, Northern Schisandra, Eucommia, Job's Tears, Polygala, Small Fennel, Old Paper, Hyacinth Bean, Cypress Seed, Pangolin Scale, Agarwood, Whole Scorpion, and Cistanche.
Horny Goat Weed Wine
[Drug Composition] Horny Goat Weed
[Function and Indications] Treat deficiency of essence and Qi due to cold, impotence, weak knees, back pain, various deficiencies.
[Usage and Dosage] Drink one or two cups morning and evening.
[Preparation Method] Nine steaming and nine drying cycles of Horny Goat Weed, then soak in wine.
[Precautions] Avoid for yin deficiency with fire excess.

Many Offspring Wine
[Drug Composition] Sweet Goji 1 *jin*, Longan Meat 1 *jin*, Walnut Meat 1 *jin*, White Rice Sugar 1 *jin*
[Function and Indications] Treat infertility.
[Usage and Dosage] Three times daily, moderate amount.
[Preparation Method] Place all ingredients in a silk bag, tie, put in a jar, add 15 *jin* of good burned wine and 10 *jin* of glutinous rice wine, seal, ready after 21 days.

Shrimp Wine
[Drug Composition] One large pair of shrimp, 60-degree white wine 250ml
[Function and Indications] Reduced sexual function, impotence.
[Usage and Dosage] Drink according to personal preference daily, can accompany meals; when wine is finished, steam and eat the shrimp in portions.
[Preparation Method] Wash fresh large shrimp, place in a wide-mouth bottle or porcelain jar, add about 250ml of 60-degree white wine, seal and soak for one week.
